so refreshingly unpretentious it's like a gift - to see anguish and awkwardness and a bit of transparency in the face of a well trodden photographic landscape of the distant, the
lifeless, and the impersonal. whew! crack a window in this stuffy bitch...by
lifeless i mean to relate that you can certainly shoot an inanimate ('lifeless') object/machine/trace - but you HAVE TO GIVE IT LIFE. i believe that! if you only 'capture' something - how might it live? intent is like fairy dust...
