arbol espejo, con la baby de rubén, espejo del cuarto

mirror mirror on the wall...on the tree, on the floor...mirror mirror...for starters, who's the fairest of them all? aside from ruben's baby girl? when you get close to a mirror it shows all of your imperfect sides - but none negates your greater (whole) self. karlene says in getting close to a person, you do the same: you show yourself, all sides in rotation. what people see in us reflects on them, simply. it can show narcissism as well as adoration, fear as well as faith...to get very close to a mirror is to see yourself in potentially uncomfortable ways, and to see the other person, seeing you. i hope to continue living very, very, very uncomfortably.
